We host and partner in events throughout the year to meet the needs of farmers, food producers, and rural entrepreneurs.
- the Healthy Local Food exhibit, a fun-filled 12 days of interactive learning and tasting of local foods at the Minnesota State Fair.
- FEAST! Local Foods Marketplace, a local foods festival that showcases regional food producers.
- FEAST! Local Foods Tradeshow, a showcase of great local foods that is geared toward wholesale buyers and local food makers.
The 2023 Farmland Summit brought together farm leaders, change agents, policymakers, and practitioners from around the upper Midwest to dig into critical challenges and opportunities related to farmland access and transfer. Participants gathered to learn, share, and connect around an array of issues such as financing, tenure, conservation, and transfer.
In April, 2021 we held the first-ever Home-Based Food Entrepreneur Virtual National Conference, which provided four days of sessions along with a platform for networking that began in advance of the event. Recorded sessions are still available, and we look forward to the second annual event in 2022.
In 2019 we were excited to be the local host for the fourth National Farm Viability Conference, a national gathering for creating resilient food systems, and profitable food and farming businesses.
